Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress from America. Her most well-known role was Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 & 2014. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting while attending Preparatory School. In the late 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. She studied theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a period in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working by the theater in the Chicago area for several years prior to trying her luck in TV as well as film roles. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big part as Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Anna continued to be in film as well as TV shows such Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late the 1990's. Then she was placed in The Practice as Jean Ward. In the mid 2000's she was given the role of Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. The show was recast as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully in addition to Deadwood was another movie she appeared in. Gunn has also appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn was a part of a four-part audio play podcast called"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and eventual end resembles the last years of Walter White's personal life.
